Vinegar Based Barbeque Sauce

Vinegar-based barbeque sauce gives a rich flavor to your barbeque food, and can be prepared using simple ingredients. The following are three ways to prepare the delicious sauce:

Recipe 1:

Serves: 5-6
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Serving Time: 8 hours

Ingredients:
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
Salt and pepper as required

Procedure:
* Mix the cider vinegar, red pepper flakes, brown sugar and seasonings in a bowl.
* Toss the ingredients together so that they mesh well.
* Wait 6-8 hours before serving so that all the ingredients are thoroughly blended to give the sauce an enhanced flavor.

Recipe 2:

Serves: 16
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Time: 3 hours

Ingredients:
½ quart cider vinegar
3/4 tablespoons red pepper flakes
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Salt and Pepper as requires
*The hot pepper sauce goes best with pork, but can also be used for other kinds of meat.

Procedure:
Mix together the cider vinegar, salt, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes and light brown sugar.
Pour the hot pepper sauce and stir well until salt and brown sugar have dissolved.
Cover the mixture and wait for about 3 hours for the ingredients to blend well
Serve.

Recipe 3:

Serves: 8
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Time: 30 to 45 minutes, depending on time taken for cooling down

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
11/2 cup ketchup
A dash of mustard powder

Procedure:
Combine all the ingredients in a small pan and mix well.
Heat the pan on a low flame and stir the ingredients thoroughly
After simmering for 8-10 minutes, switch off the flame and allow the sauce to cool well.
Serve.
